Acting

I joined Sodbury Players in 2021 and developed a huge love of acting and being on stage. Since then, I’ve appeared in:

• Dracula – Renfield
• Neville’s Island – Roy
• The Lady in the Van – Alan Bennett
• Blackadder II – Baldrick
• The Legend of Sleepy Hollow – Van Ripper
• Treasure Island (pantomime) – Musket (comedy duo)
• Cinderella – Musty (ugly sister)
• Robin Hood & Babes in the Wood – Nurse Nellie (dame)
• Aladdin – Genie
• Snow White – Pop (head dwarf)

Prop-making

I love making props for shows! Some of my favourite creations have been:

• Camping stove with gas ring LED effect
• Toto dog rod puppet for a youth production of The Wizard of Oz
• A giant glitterball costume, modelled around an inflatable gym ball
• 3D printed lego knight helmets for guards in Robin Hood
• Cluedo weapons, including a candlestick, lead pipe, and realistic pipe attack prosthetic
• Replica of the headless horseman’s sword from the Sleepy Hollow movie

Misc

• I recently build a wearable moving “Mad-Eye Moody” eye for my son’s World Book Day costume, using a tiny RP2040 board, a servo, and some 3D printed parts.
